Use of  against , along , among . between , across , after , before  and behind   

यदि आप preposition का प्रयोग अच्छे से समझ लेते हो तो आप का speakingअच्छे हो सकता है और किसी से आप अंग्रेजी मे बात करने मे संकोच नहीं कर पाओगे । 

Use of Against (  Against  का प्रयोग   )

1. I am against animal experimentation.  (मैं पशु प्रयोग के खिलाफ हूं।    )
2. They are against the new office policy.  (  वे नई कार्यालय नीति के खिलाफ हैं।   )
3. She voted against the new law.   ( उसने नए कानून के खिलाफ मतदान किया।  )
4. He was leaning against me the well .   ( वह मेरे खिलाफ कुएं पर झुक रहा था।  )
5. He was leaning against a tree .   ( वह एक पेड़ के खिलाफ झुक रहा था।  )
6. I am not against  you .   ( मैं आपके खिलाफ नहीं हूं।  )
7. that is against the law.   (  यह कानून के खिलाफ है। )
8. Are you for or against my pro[osal ?   (आप के लिए या मेरे समर्थक [ओसल के खिलाफ हैं?   )

use of Along (  Along का प्रयोग   )

1. He will go along with your plan . ( वह आपकी योजना के साथ जाएगा।   )
2. I can not get along with that man  anymore. (  मुझे उस आदमी के साथ कोई और नहीं मिल सकता   )
3. Why don't you come along with us to the party? ( आप हमारे साथ पार्टी में क्यों नहीं आते?   )
4. I want to likko anong with them .( मैं उनके साथ लिंगा के पास गया   )
5. we walked along the beach.  ( हम समुद्र तट के साथ चले     )
6. we drove along the dusty road. (  हम धूल भरी सड़क पर चले गए।    )

Use of Among & between ( Among & between का प्रयोग    )

1. The money was divided between my two sons .    (  मेरे दोनों बेटों के बीच पैसे बंट गए।    )
2. The money was divided among among my four sons.   (  मेरे चार बेटों के बीच पैसे बंट गए।    )
3. The books were distributed among.   (   पुस्तकों के बीच वितरित किया गया।    )
4. There is a treaty between the five great powers.  (  पाँच महाशक्तियों के बीच एक संधि है।    )
5. There is not much space between the three points.   (    तीन बिंदुओं के बीच ज्यादा जगह नहीं है।    )
6. She wanted to be among friends. ( वह दोस्तों के बीच रहना चाहती थी।       )
7. what were you doing between 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm? ( आप शाम 5.30 से 7.00 बजे के बीच क्या कर रहे थे?   )

Use of  Across  (  Across का प्रयोग  )

1. They were able jump across. (  वे आर-पार कूदने में सक्षम थे।        )
2. They were able  make it across.   ( वे इसे पार करने में सक्षम थे।    )
3. They were able hop across.  (     वे आशा के पार थे।    )
4. They were able step across.  (    वे कदम भर में सक्षम थे।    )
5. They walked across as quickly as they could.    (  वे जितनी जल्दी हो सके उतनी जल्दी चल दिए।  )
6. sita lives across the street .  (  सीता सड़क के उस पार रहती है।    )

Use of After ( After का प्रयोग )

2. after dinner .  (  रात के खाने के बाद ।  )
3. I will go on a diet after the holiday.  (मैं छुट्टी के बाद डाइट पर जाऊंगा।    )
4. I will come on a diet after the holidays..  ( मैं छुट्टियों के बाद एक आहार पर आऊँगा ।।     )
5. I have soccer practice after dinner . (   डिनर के बाद मेरे पास फुटबॉल का अभ्यास है।  )
6. I will go after your turn. ( मैं आपकी बारी के बाद जाऊंगा।   )

4. Today is monday , so the day before last was saturday.  ( आज सोमवार है, इसलिए आखिरी दिन से पहले का दिन शनिवार था।  )
5. You should always wash your hands before meals.  (  आपको भोजन से पहले हमेशा अपने हाथ धोने चाहिए।   )
6. sita is always up before dawn.  (  भोर से पहले सीता हमेशा उठती है।   )
7. She has lived there since before the war.  ( वह युद्ध से पहले से वहां रह रही है।   )
8. Vinod said it before witnesses.  ( गवाहों से पहले विनोद ने कहा।   )
9. A comes before B.  (  A, B से पहले आता है।  )
10. He will go before lunch.  ( वह दोपहर के भोजन से पहले जाएगा।  )

Use of Behind (  Behind का प्रयोग     )

1. There is a smile behind his frown.   ( उसके भ्रूभंग के पीछे एक मुस्कान है।   )
2. She was accidentally left behind.  (वह गलती से पीछे छूट गया था।   )
3. I am falling behind at move.  ( मैं पीछे हट रहा हूं।   )
4. I am behind in my payments.  ( मैं अपने भुगतानों में पीछे हूं।   )
5. sita sits behind me in class.  ( सीता मेरे पीछे क्लास में बैठती है।     )
6. The child was hiding before the door.  (   बच्चा दरवाजे से पहले छिप गया था।   )
7. The train is behind its time .  ( ट्रेन अपने समय से पीछे है।   )
8. She hid behind the tree.  (  वह पेड़ के पीछे छिप गया।  )
9. The dog is behind the fence . ( कुत्ता बाड़ के पीछे है।  )
10. The dog ran behind its master.  ( कुत्ता अपने मालिक के पीछे भागा।  )
